New Payment Policy

(effective February 1, 2024)

Dear families,

While pondering New Years resolutions that I might personally implement in the new year, I decided to make one which will make my life a little easier and less chaotic. It involves the timeliness of tuition payments. Since the pandemic when we went to an online payment system the timeliness of tuition payments has become rather inconsistent. Back in 2020 there was only one or two late payments a month but fast forward to 2023… it is now pretty common that between six to seven payments are being made two and three weeks late. It causes me to spend more time figuring out who, how much, and why payments haven't been made.

Therefore, starting in February, tuition will be due on the first day of the month with a three (3) day grace period. After the grace period your tuition will be subject to a $15 late fee which would be after 11:59pm on the 4th day of the month.

This will make it easier to set calendar reminders. I set them all the time and cannot live without them! The calendar events are nicely synced with all my devices and are available to me wherever I go. And online payments can be made right on your portible devices wherever you are so it should be quite convenient. I am sure that the reason why payments are inconsistent is because every month it is different. This will correct that inconsistency.

There may be times when you will wonder how to proceed with your tuition payment if you’ve missed a lesson in the previous month or if there are holidays approaching. The answer to this is in excellent communication with me. Simply text or call me and we can work out all of the details. It shouldn’t be an issue, however, as lessons are to be made up during the school year and there is rarely a time when that expectation will be adjusted. Summer classes are treated quite differently so this is only pertaining to lessons when school is in session.

Thank you for your understanding. As always, I stay passionate about helping your child reach new levels in their music making!
